Chicago saw a weekend’s worth of gun violence in one day Tuesday, with one man left dead and another 14 people wounded in shootings, according to police. The day’s lone fatality occurred in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side shortly before 8 p.m. The 31-year-old man was shot in the back of the head around 7:52 p.m. in the 6300 block of South Troy Street, according to Chicago Police. He was walking northbound on South Troy Street with a friend when shots rang out and he collapsed.
